Flash!

As you know my Daddy likes to take pictures of me and normally does a really good job. You all get to see all of the best ones! But Daddy has been having a hard time keeping up with me. Well according to Daddy it is not him but the camera lens. So we got a flash that will make it better for daddy to keep up with me or the lens to keep up with me depending on who you ask. So here's to better action shots!

Daddy Says...

...This picture has nice framing. Mama took it of me and to get a compliment from Daddy on taking pictures is pretty good at least in Mama's book! I too like this picture and if you look closely in the back ground you can see the new plug cover that my Mama got to keep me from pulling the lamp plug out of the wall. I maybe like to play with that cord. Mama has moved the lamp though and it is not so much in my line of sight all the time so it is not played with as much.

I Love my Daddy!

So this is a little late, but I thought I would show you something I gave my wonderful Daddy for Father's Day!

My Mama's friend, Adell, came over and took a few pictures of my Mama and me. Good thing I was happy, or Daddy would get reminded all the time about how crabby I can be sometimes.

Daddy says he has this hanging up in his office now, so everyone at his work can see the cutest daughter ever (no prejudice here)!

The Book About Me

... or so my Mama and Daddy say. I can't really verify the truth to that statement since I can't read anyway. But here we go. I'll start at the first page and we'll see how far we get before I start getting bored and annoyed (I wouldn't ever get crabby, would I?).

P.S. - To show you how happy and content a baby I am, I've started a new Picasa web album for me. Check it out at the link on the right, or at 10 - 12 Months!

Let's Play a Game...

Ok. Gilligan, here are the rules:

1. Grab the ball.
2. Whoever gets it first wins.
3. No rough housing (sorry, that's Daddy's rule).

Ready... set... go!

Caught in the Act

Mama caught me in the act so in case you were unsure last time, my new trick is standing. We will be sure to let you know when I take my first step! Mama says that she still thinks it will be at least a month. We will see if I prove her wrong. Till then I will actually be working on my new trick maybe we can get some better pictures since i really was not expecting these.

Not Again!

I learn something new and that camera thing comes out. Don't you people ever learn that I like to perfect things before I get my picture taken doing them? I will be as stubborn as I need to be to not get my picture taken doing my new trick. Can you guess what my new trick is?

10 Months Old

At 10 months old I can climb the stairs, eat like a big girl...oops sometimes I miss my mouth. I can also play with Gilligan and cruise the furniture. I am starting to walk holding onto just one hand but I still like to have both.

I am getting big and can't wait to see what this next month brings!

Who Needs Bloomers

All my dresses come with these things called bloomers. They are okay and tie everything together well. But how would everyone see my super cute cloth diapered bum if I wore them all the time? Plus with just wearing a dress it makes diaper changes super quick and easy. My cloth diapers are super easy to coordinate with my clothes so why cover them up? Just wanted to share a picture of me in a dress looking cute!

My Friends

I wanted to let you know that my Mama is a pretty neat lady. She takes me to see my friends or has them over fairly often. I think that she may like talking to the other moms. While she is talking us babies have a blast!

I wanted to show you some pictures of our fun time today! Zach was really interested in my pretty dress. I know he really just wanted to wear it. To bad he is a boy and does not get to wear them.

All the babies in the ball pit!
Zach discovering my dress
Zach pulling on my dress
Me yelling at Mama to get me out!

Shoes!

I have been working on walking for a little over a month now. I still am just practicing but getting better every day! I am starting to stand on my own for a few seconds here and there. Pretty soon Mama is going to have to chase after me! I also LOVE being put down outside, in stores, during story time at the library, pretty much every where these days. I just want to be down so I can practice walking. I even have gotten in the habit of grabbing onto Mama's fingers before I squirm to be put down so she is sure to know what I want.

Mama decided that I needed some shoes so that I do not scrape up my feet. I own two pair of shoes these days, one pair of sandals and one pair of moccasin type shoes. I wear them both at different times. I mostly wear the sandals though because they seem to go with more of my outfits. I attached pictures of my shoes, of me stealing the shoes while Mama is trying to take pictures of the shoes and of me wearing them! I hope that you get a kick out of my little feet in shoes! hehe a kick... get it...

HMMM...

I wanted to tell you all that I saw my friend turn one yesterday. She got all these boxes wrapped in paper. It sure looked fun to rip the paper off. (it looked yummy too!) And she inhaled this stuff called cake and ice cream. Mama and Daddy said pretty soon I will turn one also and we can have lots of fun then too but till then I have to watch what I eat. ;). I think Mama just wants to keep me eating breast milk for as long as she can. These days I do not mind though because my mouth hurts. Mama says the reason that my mouth hurts is because I am getting some molars. I hope that they show up soon because about the only thing that makes me happy are my frozen teethers. I hope to back to normal soon!

Wish me luck!

By popular demand -- the three entries my Mama and Daddy are making to the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Photo Life Contest!

A picture of me at Hemisfair park in front of a statue, a picture of me walking in front of the Alamo, and a picture of me trying to crawl into a fountain at Hemisfair park.

Let's hope the judges think I'm as cute as every one else I've talked to. ;)

Rubber Ducky, You're the One!

You make bathtime so much fun! :)

But so does brushing my teeth and licking the bubbles -- boy do both of those taste great! I look forward every day to the time I hear Daddy getting the bathtub ready. I smile so big for my Daddy then.

I know it is about time when I'm getting tired and my Mama starts feeding me. At this queue I look up to see if Daddy is in the kitchen getting things ready for me. What a great time!

Here's a picture of me showing just how much I love taking a bath! See a couple more pictures of me taking a bath in my 7 - 9 Months web album.

I am the most beautiful baby people have ever seen!

Do you believe that? People think I am the most beautiful baby they have ever seen. Even random people Mama and I see in the grocery store! Hmm... I'm not so sure what to think about it. I'm sure my Momma and Daddy don't think that way after all the fuss I make them put up with every day, but really?

So here's a picture of me in my "regal pose." I look serious, don't I? But am I really the cutest of them all? Maybe I should start asking a mirror -- but that doesn't really make sense either.

What do you think, am I really the most beautiful baby you've ever seen? If so, maybe I really should start a modeling career.

P.S. -- Don't forget to check out the latest pictures in my 7 - 9 Months Picasa web album. My Daddy has been taking more pictures, as usual.
