Cooking fish at the museum

Theo may have caught the fish (see his earlier post), but I cooked them!

Here I am checking for correct placement of the fish. I want to be sure they are close enough to the fire to get cooked, but not so close they burn!

Mermaid visits the zoo

I brought my mermaid doll with me to the zoo the last time we went. I wanted to be sure she could see all of the great animals I get to see when we go to the zoo. Here she is with me posing on the lion sculpture at the zoo.

It may be so hot out that I'm panting, but I'm still enjoying myself on the slide. I needed the help of my Mama and big sister Meredith to get down the slide. My Daddy said he was "busy" taking my picture. I think he just didn't want his butt to get burned! :D

Even though it was hot enough to melt little kiddos like me and my big sister, my Mama and Daddy took us out for a short trip to the park to get some 12 month pictures of me. (Don't tell anyone that I was actually 13 months old when the pictures were taken!)

We had a whole weekend of camping, and the only pictures of me from the trip are of me sleeping. What is up with that? At least the pictures were of me sleeping with Daddy -- you got a break from me some of the weekend!
