My Name

From Meredith Jane 3 Years

As you can see I am learning how to write my name! Today in Sunday school I wrote my name on my own paper! Before you know it I am going to be writing my own blog posts with out Mama and Daddy's help.

Getting ready for church

From Theodore Elial 18-24 months

Just another Sunday here in our house! Mama and Daddy are trying to get everything together before we head out the door to drive to church. Somehow Daddy got us all together on the chair. Emmaline even cooperated for a little while. But it looks like I need a pair of pants on! Daddy, can you help me with that?

Christmas

From Theodore Elial 18-24 months

Yesterday we decorated our tree. Today was the first day of Advent. I hear in church that means that soon it will be Christmas! Here Meredith and I are hanging Christmas ornaments.

From Meredith Jane 3 Years

Meredith is getting ready to hang another ornament. We sure had a lot of fun helping Mama and Daddy!

From Theodore Elial 18-24 months

I hope we're on Santa's nice list!

Snowman

From Meredith Jane 3 Years

What is better than snow?

Snow that has been shaped into a snowman! Yesterday it started to warm up. So when my Daddy and I went outside to play in the snow, we made a snowman. We even found some pieces of wood for the eyes, nose, and mouth. We used some tumbleweed for arms (my Daddy said that was appropriate for the area?).

SNOW!!!

From Theodore Elial 18-24 months

A week ago it snowed. I haven't seen snow since I was four months old and visited my Grandma and Grandpa in Michigan. Theo hasn't ever seen snow. It was GREAT!

From Meredith Jane 3 Years

For those not in the know (or not somewhere where it snows), snow is this white powdery stuff that is cold. It is also a lot of fun to play in!

From Theodore Elial 18-24 months

Theo likes trying to eat the snow! Don't worry though, my Mama and Daddy say it is only water (and that Gilligan hadn't been near that snow yet).

From Theodore Elial 18-24 months

Gilligan loves the snow too! He likes chasing after snowballs. Sometimes he catches them and eats the snowball! (That's silly, Gilligan!)

From Theodore Elial 18-24 months

You can also make snowballs! Ours didn't stay together though. Daddy says it is too cold to make a good snowball.

From Meredith Jane 3 Years

Watch out, Daddy! I'm going to get you with this snowball!

Carving pumpkins

From Halloween 2010

We made our Jack-o'-lanterns last night. Why, you ask? Well, because tomorrow is Halloween, of course! I even got to help Daddy cut off the top!

From Halloween 2010

What is that stuff in there? Are you going to take it out, Daddy?

From Halloween 2010

That's silly!

From Halloween 2010

I want rectangles for eyes, a triangle for a nose, and another rectangle for a mouth. That looks great!

From Halloween 2010

I guess I'm not big enough to carve the pumpkin yet. I'll just have to watch!

From Halloween 2010

Daddy, you are a great carver!

From Halloween 2010

I am a very proud owner of my own Jack-o'-lantern!

Getting ready for Halloween

From Halloween 2010

Tomorrow is a big day, just wait to see who I dress up as. We get to go to a party after church and then my Mama and Daddy say they'll take my sister and me out trick or treating.

Here I am pointing at all of the stringy stuff inside of the pumpkin. What is that stuff anyway?

From Halloween 2010

My Mama says that I am not old enough to make a Jack-o'-lantern by myself yet, so she chose out the pattern.

From Halloween 2010

And my Daddy said he had to carve it out for me. I think it is because he wanted to play with one of his power tools.

From Halloween 2010

Finished!
