My First Solo Hike

Is this what hiking is like by myself? I can't hardly see through this hat!

Hey, look at that! That thing is huge! And there's a big rock on top!

Mama says it is called Castle Rock.

It may have been cold today (highs in the low 20s), but we went for a hike anyway! My Mama wanted to go "do something" and since a lot of places in town were closed, Mama and Daddy decided to drive to Palouse Falls State Park. There was a short hike and two waterfalls!

Grandma Kat and Patoo even came with us on the hike!

Here's the Upper Palouse Falls from high, high up. I didn't get to see them well because there was no railing along the edge and it was a long, long way down to the water!

Here, Daddy, I have some rocks for you! They're from the trail, but I picked them out special for you!

Mama, Theo, and I got to look at the lower falls more than the upper falls. Aren't they huge?!

See, I told you they were big!

Sleep

Christmas time is one of the busiest of the year. Now imagine being a kid running around and playing during this busy time. Here is what will happen:

You may fall asleep again on the couch minutes after waking up from your nap.

You may fall asleep in the car while watching the local Senske Christmas light display and then stay asleep through the whole Christmas service at church -- on the floor!

The Three Rivers Children's Museum sure is a lot of fun! They have this dress up area where you can be a princess or even your favorite children's show character. Today I decided to dress up as Blue from Blue's Clues!

Learning to Drive

We went to the Three Rivers Children's Museum on Thursday. It was a lot of fun! There were plenty of things and other kids to play with. Here I'm trying to drive the ambulance.

Maybe I can try driving the school bus?

Everyone get on the bus, we're getting ready to go!

Maybe I'll stick with driving toy trucks.

My First Christmas

This is all a bit overwhelming. What is going on, anyway?

I got this thing called a Billibo. Meredith says I'm going to love it -- and that I should ask Daddy to spin me in it.

My favorite position of the day. I got held by Grandma, Patoo, and slept in Daddy's arms for two hours!

Santa delivered a bunch of presents last night from my family. This is going to be exciting!

First, let's see what is in our stockings.

Gilligan got a full stocking too! He's begging for someone to take it off of the table.

New waterproof mittens! I hope it snows again!

I sure like my new scooter! I even helped Daddy put it together.

Sledding!

It snowed again yesterday morning -- and even though it was warm, stayed cold enough for the snow to not all melt! There may not have been a lot of snow, but today we still all went sledding (even Emmaline went down once with Mama).
