Today Meredith and I decided that her hair was getting long! It is almost into her eyes. So I pulled it back in a barrette. She looks so grown up with her hair pulled up! I can't believe that she has gotten this big! We wanted to share the pictures with everyone!

I love my Mama!

I just wanted to be sure that everyone knows how much I love my Mama! I like to imitate and watch my Dad, but I don't really like being held by him (most of the time, anyway). Just to prove it, here's a picture of the two of us having a great time at Sea World. Look how beautiful the two of us are!
If you look carefully, you can see that I'm actually looking at my Dad, because he's in the picture too. Can you guess where? Think "Where's Waldo?" except the tall skinny guy is actually in two places and he's not wearing a red and white striped shirt...
Mama, let me at 'em!

Mom, Dad, and I took a trip to Sea World this weekend. I got to see dolphins jump out of the water during the Viva! show and I got to hear the sea lions make all kinds of noise (and boy do they stink!). I even talked back to the sea lions. I have an innate ability to talk to other mammals. My Mama believes me, because she thinks I sometimes sound like a dolphin.
Mama said going to Sea World was a nice way to get out of the house for a day. She also says we have a season pass, so we'll probably be coming back pretty often.
When we were at "Dolphin Cove," I wanted to jump in and let those dolphins know how to splash! They certainly weren't doing much in the pool besides swimming around, so I wanted to show them how to have a good time (see earlier post about me splashing in the bath). For some reason my Mama didn't let me in. Something about how the Sea World employees said that she wasn't supposed to let "foreign objects" fall into the pool... whatever that means. I'm not foreign, I was born right here in San Antonio, TX! That makes me a citizen. :P
Even though I didn't get to teach the dolphins, I still had a good time. Take a look at a couple of pictures of me looking at the dolphins and at the sea lions.

Here is a better pictures of my teeth -- I have just one more to pop through. Don't get confused by the glare from my spit on the left; that's not actually a tooth. Mama can not wait till they are through and then maybe she will get some sleep again! We are both dreading me getting my eye teeth and molars! we will get through them though.

Meredith started really moving this week. She is a little more like an inch worm then a crawler but she is moving none the less. She is not quick yet but I am sure in a week or two we are really going to have to look out at what she is going after. We have already moved the router and the other box up off the floor because she kept going after the "blinking lights" as Timothy would say. SO guess what happened today that has NEVER happened since she was born. well at least while awake. She allowed me to walk out of the room and do things around the house with out her having to be with me or carried!!! I KNEW that when she figured out how to move she would be a much happier camper! I am super excited to have a new found freedom!

I wanted to let you all know why Mama has not had time to get on the computer to put up wonderful pictures of me. Well, I am teething. I am getting 4 NEW teeth. You can almost see them in the picture. I am getting the top front teeth and the two next to them. The front right has poked through and so has the one to the right of that. The ones on the left side are taking their sweet time coming in. Until they do you know where my Mama will be, taking care of me while I proceed not to nap and not to sleep much at night.

It has been a while since we got the camera out. Today Timothy suggested playing with the camera and So I took it out and took some pictures. Most of the pictures I took were of the apple tree blooming and of our other plants in the front but I got some good ones of Meredith and Daddy.
I am so greatful to be able to stay home this year with Meredith and the reason I can stay home is because Timothy supports me, not only does he support us by bringing home the bacon but also supports us emotionally too. He always (well almost always) is understanding of why yet again I did not get the house clean and loves to come home to listen to both Meredith and I talk to him. I do not think I tell him enough that I love him and think he is wonderful!

Splish Splash

Today Meredith and I went to the pool. Meredith was a pro at swimming (She is going to take after me and be a fish!). I could not take pictures of us at the pool thought because well we were the only ones there and I thought it much more important to stay with Meredith (not that she would have let me leave her anyway). She started out with me in her water sling she was at first unsure but then got extremely excited and started splashing! (maybe encouraged by mom). After awhile, she started to squirm in the sling and wanted more freedom so I put her in a float that the Easter Bunny brought her. She was in the float for a while too she was kicking and moving around in it really well. But then she tried to CLIMB out of the float to get to the good open water so she could splash. I took her out of the float and did the daddy carry( how daddy carries her around. We will get a picture of Timothy doing the daddy carry soon). She liked that but then wanted to kick her legs and splash at the same time. So then I just held her by her arm pits. It was a wonderful time!
SO you all are still thinking what does going to the pool have to do with bath time? Well she sure wanted to show off her new found skill to Daddy tonight. As soon as we got out the bathtub Meredith was trying to get into the tub. I was lucky that I already just had her in her diaper. She got right in and showed off to daddy who was less then thrilled. hmmm maybe we will have to start bathing her in the real tub?!?
