It is that time of the year again. The one where we take a picture of our kids and send it out to all of our friends and family. Who wants to be in the Christmas card when you can make the kids pose for one instead?
Well, it turns out getting three kids to look at the camera simultaneously (and to look relatively happy) is a little tougher than it sounds...
So here are just a few of the shots we went through trying to get this year's picture. Don't worry, I'll let you see the final picture at the end of this post... but you'll have to go through all of the pictures first :D
Focal length and exposure test with the more easy going kids (if a 19 month old and three year old can be "easy going"). So where's Emmaline?
First try. Smile!
Meredith says, "Emmaline, hold on to my hand!"
This should have been a clue...
Theo says, "Come on guys, let's get this over with."
"Hey, you hit my head!"
After a short break to calm down some nerves, let's try a different arrangement. Meredith sure loves her baby sister (and Theo his plug)!
A new day and a new chance to get the shot!
Theo, smile!
Where's Daddy, Theo?
Another melt down and another break. Meredith informs us that she's made the letter 'T' with Emmaline!
Success!
