We may have gone to the park to take Theo's pictures, but I didn't want to be left out. I made sure Daddy got a picture of me in every so often too. I'm growing and getting older too, not just Theo!

Yesterday we went to a park in Kennewick to take some pictures of Theo. I guess Mama and Daddy usually take pictures for our birthdays, so they decided now that Theo is 2 years (and a month), they'd better take some new pictures.

I hung out with Mama on her back while Daddy took the pictures. Afterwards, Meredith and Theodore played at the park while I hung out in the shade on the grass. It was a good time!

Hiking in style

This weekend, Mama, Daddy, and I went to Holden Village with the youth group from our church. Don't tell Meredith & Theo, because they LOVE Holden. They stayed home with friends (and had a good time too!).

While at Holden, we took a hike. I had to be warm, but I also had to go in style. What do you think of the hat my Mama knitted for me? That's a flower on the side. I loved it. I really liked seeing the waterfall at the end of the hike too!

Hair Cut

This morning we went to get Mama, Daddy, Theodore and me hair cuts. Mama wanted to get my hair shorter so that it was all the same length. I've been trying to grow out my bangs for a while now, and they are finally long enough to trim all of my hair at the same length.

We Climbed a Mountain!

Yesterday was a warm, sunny (in the afternoon) day! Mama, Daddy, Meredith, Emmaline, and I went for a hike to the top of Badger Mountain yesterday morning.

Meredith was getting ready too, but she was being a little bit more silly than me.

Meredith hiked all the way to the top by herself (with a little "inspiration" from Mama and Daddy). I didn't make it too far up before Daddy carried me on his back.

When we got to the top, we took a break. It was windy and cool, but the view was great!

At the top, Meredith and I both ate our snack and drank some water.

Then we took a look around. this is the town of West Richland, with Candy Mountain and Rattlesnake Mountain off in the distance.

Even though it was a hard hike for us little kids, it was still a lot of fun! We even got to play at a playground at the bottom of the mountain when we were done!

Crawling is for the Birds

So you may have heard that I've taken to crawling like a fish takes to water... as in I'm all over the place! I'm getting close to crawling on my hands and knees, but I mostly army crawl. It gets me where I want to go and gets me there pretty quickly too!

I thought I would let you know that I'm starting to think about other higher-level things now too!

With a little assistance from Mama or Daddy, I'm learning to walk! I don't know how to stand yet, but hey, I'm not going to let that stop me! Here I am practicing walking while Meredith and Theodore were talking to Aunt Jennifer on the computer.

My Mama made the best cake for my birthday party yesterday! Don't you think it is great! It was a train! And you can eat it too!!

We invited a couple of friends over. We played a lot, ate pizza, and I opened birthday cards. All my friends made the cards themselves! I loved them!

My friends brought me birthday presents too! I got some new play-doh toys (I sure love play-doh!) and a cool car ramp to go with the new car mat my Mama made. What a great day! I'm sure glad my friends could come over, it made for a great day!

Most of the time at Theo's birthday party on Saturday I just hung around on the floor. I'm starting to get a hang of the whole crawling thing. Well, sort of anyway. I'm starting to be able to move places, slowly. That's progress, don't you think?
