That it is safe and okay to walk in this grass? It feels a little wet a dog did not come and pee on it did they?
This morning Mama was killing time before my nap. We went outside to take a few pictures cause Mama is not sure she has enough or wanted to play with the camera or something. We had Pooh out with us but i got tired of rocking when I saw our neighbors dogs. I wanted to take off after them. I got as far as the grass and then stopped. I have walked on grass before but this stuff was WET what is up with that? Mama says it is just dew.

Having a Ball!

It may seem that I just started to walk and really I have i still prefer to hold on to a hand to get to places and I like to still crawl. But give me my ball and i want to pick it up and move it across the room it goes something like this. Ball placed in front of me, I use the ball to stand up, I pick the ball up and try to walk with it. I fall hitting my face on the ball and it starts all over again. Here are two clips of me playing with my ball. one of which you will have to turn your head side ways. Mama will figure out how to use her camera on her phone one of these days.

I wanted to show you how much I like to rock on my Pooh. You will Have to turn your head sideways though to see it because Daddy does not want to play with it right now and Mama just does not understand how these things work. You will also have to ignore the dryer in the background and the TV news on.

So you better take a look now before it is too late! Pretty soon I'll be walking all over this place. I'm getting more steady on my feet, you know. At least until one of the puppies decides he or she needs to play with me. They still don't quite understand that I can't stand up to their nudges. Oh well -- I still enjoy playing with them anyway!
Be sure to check out this and a load more pictures that my Daddy just uploaded: 10 - 12 Months Part II

It isn't often that you get to see my Momma, Daddy, and me all together in one picture. So here's one just in case you had forgotten who my parents are. We took a trip downtown to the Japanese Tea Gardens this morning specifically to take some pictures. Here's a shot of the three of us sitting on some stairs along a trail. Aren't we all as happy as can be?
Maybe I wasn't as happy as I could be, but I'm not doing that bad. Give me a break, it's hard being a 11 month old that can't wait for her one year birthday!
Only 20 more days!

Until what, you ask?? Well, if I had to tell you that would just spoil the fun now wouldn't it! (In case you're not in the know, I'll be one year old in 20 days.)
After talking with all of my old and wise friends who have been through such things, I can look forward to a lot of fun! Big bright things to tear into and chew on, a big sugary and messy thing called a "cake", and plenty of visitors. It sure sounds like fun, and I can't wait!
So how many is 20 anyway?

I Can Walk Across a Room!

Well, most of a room anyway. Maybe just half a room. And if you really measured, it might only be 5 or 6 feet. But who's counting anyways? Mama and Daddy now say that I can walk. I'll consider that official enough.
I know this isn't a picture of me walking ... or a video of it, but I thought my Daddy did pretty well on this shot. Just ignore the left over dinner on my face. Next time I'll ask my Mama or Daddy to clean me up better before a photo shoot.
I just want you to focus on my eyes. If you look close enough, you can see that my Daddy is taking the picture! ;)
I thought I would also let you know that I'm starting to warm up to my Daddy. I guess he isn't as bad as I've made him out to be. I even decide to cuddle up against him sometimes while he's holding me. He may be bony, but my chunky monkey physique makes up for it.
I see that it is getting late -- I better get to bed. Talk to you all later!

I just wanted to get on quickly and let everyone know that Meredith has been taking steps on her own consistently since last night. Timothy was watching her while I made dinner. I am not sure how she got behind me but no one was holding onto her and she took a few controlled step towards me. Today she has been a little more daring and has taken several steps throughout the day. I do not have a picture of it and am unsure when we will have a picture of it. We are very proud of her. I am happy that Timothy got to be the one that got to see her first actual steps(she has been falling and moving her feet at the same time for a while now). I have seen a lot of her firsts and am glad that he got to see at least one with me.

Look Daddy, One Hand!

While at church yesterday Mama forced me to walk holding onto just one of her hands. After I decided that I would not fall down "the whirling vortex of death"(name that movie quote) I have found my new favorite pass time. Walking holding on to Mama's or Daddy's hand (fingers). This is all I want to these days. I even showed off today and took a few steps for Daddy all by myself. Now I have to work on getting Mama and Daddy to help me walk where I want to go not where they want to go. My favorite destinations are the dog's water bowl and the toilet paper in the bathroom. Well guys I need to get walking again! talk to you soon!

Apparently Google feels the need to restrict a Picasa Web Album to 500 pictures. Why would you ever limit the number of pictures I put on display?
Anyway, my workaround is to make a second 10-12 Months album. Think of it as "part deux" or maybe since I live down south it should be "part dos"?
At any rate, my Daddy has added a new link to the ever growing list of albums to the right. Be sure to check in often!
I'll have to get my Daddy to tell the Google programmers how to handle more than 500 pictures. I hear he is a computer wiz, so he ought to be able to help. :)

...Ridiculous. Daddy does not like the new way that Mama is doing my hair and it makes me cry. I personally think that it is cute! Please tell me what you think of it. I am going to have Mama help me post a better picture of my ponytail here in a second. I just wanted to show you how i feel when Daddy does not like my hair.

Pooh and I want to say that Mama and Daddy are the Bestest! They have been married for 5 years. That is a CRAZY long time when I think about it. I mean in 5 years I will be starting kindergarten. I will be walking and talking and learning so much between now and then. Oh geez I got off track again. What was I saying...oh yeah Mama and Daddy, I hope you have a great Anniversary! It must have been the year to get plants because Daddy got Mama roses yesterday (I helped him pick them out) and Mama got Daddy a succulent garden for his desk. I hear I get to stay with Mrs. Amanda tonight so they can go out to dinner without me. I am glad they are going out with out me because last time we went to the Olive Garden I did not like it much. I think it was just too late plus who wanted to have a romantic dinner for Valentine's day anyway? Have a great time tonight Mama and Daddy!

Mama and Daddy took me to Sea World last night to see the fireworks! I had a blast! I enjoyed almost every minute of it. The last bang though scared me but it only took me a second to get over it! I wanted to show you the pictures that Daddy took. Here they are.
