Nowhere to hide...

Gilligan got a bath today! It was GREAT fun to watch; I laughed and squealed. It was generally a good time.
Once we were allowed back inside I decided that Gilligan needed to be chased! We went round and round and round the living room/piano room. I guess Gilligan got tired of playing my game. All of a sudden he was trying to crawl behind the couch!!
If you have been in our house we have the china cabinet on the back wall then an end table on a different wall but close to the china cabinet. Then there is the couch. Well Gilligan went back there and hid. I had NEVER SEEN ANY THING LIKE IT. Mama got out the camera and took some pictures of my accomplishment. Then she set Gilligan free.
Here he is sitting up behind the table and then him trying harder to crawl behind the couch. I think he is a little big to fit! What do you think?!?

I am what you might call a Bruiser

My Mama and I went to the pediatrician today for my 18 month checkup. I was 18 months old back on February 16, so I think the pediatrician should have renamed it to my "18 months and 3 days appointment", but who am I to correct a doctor?
The pediatrician thought I was very smart because I can put together multiple words in baby sign language. For example, "more milk, please", "pacifier, please", and "more pacifier, please"... well, maybe I haven't said the last one, but every time my Daddy tries to take it away so he can see my smile (or so he says), that's what I'm thinking!
So for all those who are curious, here are the stats to prove my self-proclaimed title:
Weight: 25 lbs. 10 oz. (75-95th percentile)
Height: 33 inches (that's 3 inches away from a yard and again in the 75-95th percentile)
Head Circumference: 19.25 million inches (well, not million, but it does put me in the 97th percentile!)
To see how much I've grown, check out my post with my 15 month old stats.

Continuing my spinning theme from earlier, here I am, freeze frame, mid spin. I've taken to spinning myself because it just seems that Daddy isn't around much during the day to spin me in my Bilibo. Plus this way I can spin the way I want to!

All that spinning can get to a toddler, though. Here I am after losing my balance and falling over. I spared you the shot of me falling over into my walker toy... that made me angry!

What better way to spend the morning on Valentine's Day than with your Mama and Daddy going out for an adventure! We went to Mission San Jose and had a blast! My Mama and Daddy let me walk, and run, and play all around. It was great! Something about me almost being 18 months old and wanting some pictures of it... Who cares when you can have as much fun as I had?
Be sure to check out all the new pics!

The danger of just one sip...

See, Grandpa, this is what just one sip can do. I have now graduated up to fully "leaded" pop. You may have given me a sip of diet, but I found the good stuff! Just think of all the dentist bills in the future...
P.S. -- Grandpa, I don't mean to tease you. The pop bottle has been empty for some time. It was even rinsed. So all I was really drinking was some lukewarm tap water. But I did get the bottle open myself! No hard feelings. XOXOXO

This is for all of those non-believers out there. Or for those who are visual learners. Or for those who need to see to believe.
Or maybe for those who just think I'm not big enough...

I can use a computer with the best of them. Here I am getting ready to write this post. I had to bring in the help of my Daddy. I may be able to write my own posts, but how do you think I would write my own post AND take my picture at the same time?!
Well, I'm sure there are answers to that question... like a tripod and the timer feature on the camera. Or maybe even Daddy's shutter remote. But why go through all of that trouble if I could just simply ask my Daddy? Besides, I think he likes taking pictures! And all I had to do was give him kisses -- I have plenty of those to go around. :)

Not Quite Right....

...But I did it myself! I have found the joy of zippers! I love to play with anyone who has a zipper on. Yesterday, when Mama came to get me from the church nursery. I did not want to go with her because I had made a new friend with a grandma who had a zipper on. Today, I took my coat which Mama had left zipped up on the couch and put it on myself. Can you tell that I am proud? Mama had to help me once I wanted it off. I could not quite figure out how to get my arms in the right place... hmm maybe you can help me out?!
