I'm Helping Mama by...

...doing the laundry! I have been helping around the house wherever I can be of use. My most recent love is doing the laundry. Well, I am good at putting it in but need a little help to get the soap in and in getting it to the dryer and getting it out of the dryer, but I will carry it until we run out. It takes me a little bit more time then Mama normally does but she does not mind because that means she gets to hold Theo and I will carry the laundry to the wash and then to the couch so she can fold it.

I still may be little compared to my big sister, but I am getting there so Meredith better watch out!! I went to the doctor the other day and they took all these measurements. Here are the stats:
weight: 9 lbs 5 oz (75%-95%)
height: 21.5 inches (75%-95%)
head circumference: 14 cm (25%-50%)
Mama and Daddy are sure proud of my weight gain and growing abilities! I have gained a pound and a half and grown 1.5 inches since I was born! My head size may take after my Mama's side of the family. Mama looked back on Meredith's growth during this same time span and she gained a little less and grew a little less but her head was MUCH bigger.

Bath time!

For a while now I've seen how my big sister gets to take a bath every night in this big white thing my Mama and Daddy call a bathtub. She has a blast! She gets to play with toys and splash and color on the bathtub. I can't wait until I get to do that!
My Mama says that I need to wait a little while longer before I get to be a big boy and take a bath in the bathtub, but who needs a big bathtub that I would have to share with my sister? I get my own bathtub that is just the right size!
Here I am getting all clean and ready for bed. I feel fresh and ready for a meal.
Talk to you later!

There used to be this thing that hung off of my belly... but now it is gone??
My Mama was happy to see it gone -- something about how I get to have baths now. I'm not sure what that is about either.
Do you think you can help me find whatever it was I lost?

To make this post! :)
My Daddy got his photography geek on tonight and took this picture of me for my birth announcement. What's an announcement? And for that matter, what is a birth? Hmmm... I have much to learn.
Anyway, I think the picture is great. I even slept through the flash going off a few times. I may have squirmed and grunted some, but I made sure to lay still long enough to get this shot.
Your cards should be in the mail soon, assuming my Mama and Daddy do their part of the work. Mine is done!

Playtime with My Big Sister

My big sister is the bestest. She helps my Daddy and Mama do things around the house, but most importantly she likes playing with me!
I think that is great! I need a playmate. Gilligan might like to play with me, but his idea of playing is licking me. Plus, he's HUGE and FURRY! Who would like that? Maybe I will like him sometime in the future, but right now I like my sister better.
I love my sister so much that I "beep" her nose!

Carrying the baby for my Mama and Daddy!
I don't know how much the baby weighs now, but as long as it isn't much heavier than my doll, we should be okay. Here I am using my Mama's sling to carry my baby.
There's nothing wrong with getting in a little bit of early practice, is there?
